Gerard Vos

Investment manager

Gerard has more than 20 years of work experience, including 6 years of direct impact investing in Africa. Gerard joined FOUNT in 2015. From 2009-2015 he worked for the Investment Fund for Health in Africa (“IFHA”), a private equity fund focused on healthcare with investments from IFC, FMO, APG, and others. Before that he worked for another private equity firm, HAL Investments (2006-2009). Both funds are well-respected investment organisations with an international focus. Through his broad work experience, Gerard has developed a keen insight into the entire investment process.

He joined BIX Capital in April 2017 as an Investment manager and is responsible for deal execution in close cooperation with Jeroen, from the first contact with a potential investment candidate through to deal structuring, negotiations, contracting and subsequent portfolio management activities.

Gerard obtained his Master’s degree in Macroeconomics at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, the Netherlands.
